The pieces in this collection are watercolor or watercolor+ink with a protective finish of cold wax. Cold wax is a sealer made from white beeswax and a solvent. The solvent evaporates after application leaving a satin finish which protects the artwork from moisture, dust and other airborne particles. With this finish it is no longer necessary to place the artwork behind glass.
