wings and scaly things
So I mentioned I've started painting the first of my dragon series, and I thought I'd give you a little peek:
All art is a process and for me painting is always about staying open and curious and not being too attached to what I think is going to happen . . .
At the moment I'm only getting studio time in very short bursts. While I find that frustrating in some ways, I'm noticing the benefit of walking away from it and coming back to see it with fresh eyes. Some things that looked like 'mistakes' when I walked away look like interesting opportunies when I come back and look again. This is a lesson I keep learning over and over again in different ways. Maybe it applies to something you do as well?
